How does Cafflano® Kompresso work?
It uses hydraulic compression combined with Pascal's principle to increase the extraction force. This hydraulic compression uses a liquid (hot water in this case) that is not so compressible, so there is no delay in the transmission of power which helps the Cafflano® Kompresso to maintain the high pressure on 9 bar consistently until the espresso is fully extracted. In addition, Cafflano® Kompresso's unique compression design (using both pressure and handle pull - pressing and squeezing simultaneously) maximises the weight-force when extracting the espresso, so that any coffee lover can easily extract an authentic espresso.
