Limescale is the worst enemy of all coffee machines
To extend the life of your automatic coffee machine, JURA has developed a 2-stage descaling tablet that gently removes limescale while caring for the machine.
NEW: 2-stage descaling
The decalcifying tablet with optimised dissolving time, specially developed for JURA automatic coffee machines, ensures clean, efficient and particularly long-lasting decalcification.
The descaling cycle is now performed in two phases:
- First step: carefully remove all limescale residues from the coffee machine.
- Second phase: impregnates the liquid circuit with a protective film and protects the pipes and the thermal block against corrosion.
Only original JURA descaling tablets guarantee perfect hygiene and protection of the machine. Our protective formulas and compositions are optimally adapted to the processes and materials of JURA automatic coffee speciality machines.
Phosphate-free
At JURA, ecological intelligence has long been a core value, as has the sustainable use of resources and energy. That's why our original descaling tablets are completely phosphate-free. Their optimised formula guarantees TÜV-certified hygiene, while at the same time protecting the environment and ensuring perfect coffee.
TÜV-certified hygiene for perfect coffee every time
The independent international testing body TÜV Rheinland has awarded JURA the certificate for microbiologically impeccable automatic machines. The certificate, which was awarded in accordance with the strictest criteria, shows that JURA's certified cleaning products, which are precisely matched to the electronically controlled programmes, guarantee the TÜV-certified cleanliness and hygiene of all JURA coffee machines.
Limescale: a source of breakdowns and a destroyer of taste
Limescale is deposited when water is heated. It shrinks the diameter of the pipes, which lengthens heating times and increases electricity consumption, and can even lead to a complete breakdown of the machine. Limescale also affects the taste of coffee. In small quantities it is an important flavour enhancer. On the other hand, a high limescale content in the water gives it an unpleasant aftertaste and prevents the optimal development of the coffee's aroma, not least because of temperature fluctuations.
