Beverage presentation and touch-screen operation are more intuitive than in the previous version. Simply press the touch buttons to start brewing your favorite coffee. You can select one of 12 different coffee recipes, or create your own configuration and save it. The two-part bean container can hold several varieties of coffee.

Height-adjustable all-in-one spout

An all-in-one system, but with distinct functionalities: the pouring spout features different nozzles for coffee, milk and hot water, making it easy to prepare a multitude of beverages at the touch of a button, without having to move the cup during preparation. The height-adjustable spout (140 mm) makes it possible to use large cups, while the integrated LED light lets you follow the preparation of your favorite coffee.

An exceptional tasting

Our aroma extraction system (A.E.S.) ensures optimum contact time between coffee and water, thanks to pre-infusion. Freshly ground coffee is moistened just before the extraction process, allowing the coffee's aromas to unfold to the full.

Manual Bean Select

The "Manual Bean Select" double-bin bean container allows you to use two varieties of coffee beans. This allows you to manually select the bean you want to use to brew your favorite coffee. The integrated ground coffee trap also lets you use pre-ground coffee.

Easy operation thanks to "One Touch" function

The "One Touch" function gives you direct access to coffee specialties such as espresso, long coffee, cappuccino or latte macchiato - simply select the color photo of the desired beverage. You can also customize the machine to suit your tastes, even during preparation. It also lets you prepare hot milk, milk foam or hot water in the blink of an eye. The high-resolution TFT color display provides clear instructions for intuitive menu navigation.

12 coffee recipes - true to the authentic recipe

The four recipes (espresso, long coffee, cappuccino and latte macchiato) are prepared simply by pressing the corresponding button. Eight other coffee specialities are available via the menu, including flat white and americano. Our recipes respect the authentic flavor of each specialty thanks to the "Italian Preparation Process" function, which brings the different ingredients together at the right moment and in the right order. In the original latte macchiato recipe, the espresso is added after the milk and foam, whereas for a cappuccino, it's the other way round.

Extremely quiet, cutting-edge technology: The grinder in your automatic espresso machine is as quiet as a whisper. So you can brew your coffee without waking the whole house. Enjoy your coffee in peace and quiet, any time of day.

Personalized coffee for enhanced pleasure

To satisfy every taste, the automatic espresso machine offers four levels of coffee intensity adjustment, five for the fineness of grind, and also allows you to set the temperature and quantity of coffee. The "My Coffee" function lets you save your preferences so you don't have to set them every time you brew, and save up to six different profiles. With the "Two Cup Mode", you can prepare two cups of a wide range of coffee specialities simultaneously, with or without milk.

Easy to clean

\To maintain a quality taste experience and prolong the life of your automatic espresso machine, regular cleaning is essential. The LatteSelect® automatic espresso machine's display shows a symbol indicating that cleaning or descaling is necessary, and guides you step by step through the process. The extraction chamber is easily removed to clean the inside of the machine. We recommend using a Melitta® Pro Aqua filter cartridge. By filtering the water before each preparation, the cartridge not only preserves the aromatic and taste qualities of the coffee, but also prevents the formation of limescale deposits in the circuit, thus prolonging the life of your automatic espresso machine. By following the recommended use of the filter cartridge, your automatic espresso machine will only need to be descaled once a year.* * This indication is based on an estimate of 6 cups of 120ml coffee per day and 6 filter changes per year in accordance with the appliance's specifications."

Cleaning the milk preparation system

The "Easy Clean" function is activated at the touch of a button and uses hot water and steam to clean and disinfect all parts in contact with milk after each use. For even more thorough cleaning, these removable parts can be easily removed. The milk tank supplied with the machine can be easily stored in the refrigerator or in the dishwasher.

Energy saving

Our Melitta® automatic espresso machines feature a programmable energy-saving mode and automatic switch-off function. This lets you set the time you want the machine to switch off automatically, ensuring a low energy footprint for particularly economical operation. Its 0-watt switch also allows you to switch it off manually.
