Smeg water filter

This filter effectively removes limescale from water to protect your coffee machine and prevent premature damage. Use this filter to reduce scale deposits in internal pipes and heating systems.

What's more, the filter purifies the taste of your water so as not to alter your brewing results and get the most out of your coffee.

A disc above the filter reminds you of the month in which the filter should be replaced. The filter lasts about 2 months, depending on water hardness and usage.

Installation:

• Let the water flow through the filter holes until it exits through theside opening.
• Install the filter in the water tank and set your coffee machine ' s water hardness to " soft " (follow the instructions in the manual).
• Fill the cold water tank with tap water and immerse the filter completely to expel any residual air.

This filter is compatible with SMEG BCC01, BCC02, BCC03 espresso machines , SMEG ECF01 and EGF03 espresso machines and CMS4104N, CMS4104S, CMS4303X, CMS4604NR, CMS4604NX, CMSU4104S, CMSU4303X coffee machines.
