The X10c descales with use and automatically requires descaling. The degree of scaling depends on the hardness of your water.
If you are using a CLARIS Pro Smart+ filter cartridge, no descaling prompt appears.
The use of unsuitable descaling agents may result in damage to the machine and residues in the water.
Interrupting the descaling program may result in damage to the machine. Descale until the end of the program.
The descaling program takes about 25 minutes.
JURA descaling tablets are available from Cafés Van Hove.
Descaling the machine
Condition: "Descale" is displayed in the Cockpit.

Press the
to access the JURA Cockpit dashboard. -
Press the "Descale" button.

Press the "Start" button. "Empty drip tray" button.

Empty the drip tray and coffee grounds container, then replace them. Click on "Add product".

Remove the water tank and fill it with water up to the DESCALE mark.

Completely dissolve 3 JURA descaling tablets in the water tank. This may take a few minutes.

Replace the water tank.

Place a container under the combination drain.

Press the "Next" button ." Descale machine", water flows repeatedly from the hot water outlet. "Empty drip tray".

Empty the drip tray and coffee grounds container, then replace them. "Rinse water tank / Fill water tank

Empty the container and replace it under the combination drain.

Remove the water tank and rinse thoroughly.

Fill the water tank to the DESCALE mark and replace it.

Press the "Next" button . The descaling cycle continues. "Empty drip tray".

Empty the drip tray and coffee grounds container, then replace them.
Note: If the descaling program is interrupted unexpectedly, rinse the water tank thoroughly.
