In our last blog post, we shared the success story of the Swiss brand Jura, which designs high-quality coffee machines for both home and commercial use. We also highlighted two products from their lineup—office machines: the Jura W4 Dark Inox and the Jura W8 Dark Inox. These machines are designed to produce up to 50 cups per day.

This time, we’ve selected two machines designed for heavier use, up to 100 cups a day: the Jura X4 Dark Inox and the Jura X10 Dark Inox. They share many similarities but also have a few differences. The main one: the X4 does not have a milk system, while the X10 is equipped with one. This is naturally reflected in the number of specialty drinks each machine can prepare: 12 for the former, 35 for the latter.

Why "C" models?

Both models, like others from the brand, come in two versions: the X4C and the X10C. Jura machines labeled with a “C” connect to a fixed water supply and have a reservoir that automatically fills with fresh water. They can be easily disconnected from the water supply, and you simply need to set the water reservoir to manual mode. This is very useful for occasional use, such as at corporate events, when the machine needs to be moved.

The Jura Legend for Dummies

Jura is an international leader in the field of coffee machines for offices, restaurants, gas stations, reception areas, care facilities, and more. In addition to being high-performance, reliable, and equipped with countless intuitive features, these machines boast well-thought-out ergonomics and a highly successful modern design. In terms of appearance, the “Dark Inox” models are particularly appealing. As mentioned in our latest blog post, Jura’s DNA can be summed up in a few words: quality, durability, elegance, reliability, innovation, precision, and sustainability. Take a look online and review the various independent tests and comments: there is unanimous agreement among consumers and industry professionals.

Choosing the right machine… and the right beans

Coffee breaks are a special time at work. They’re a chance to socialize, recharge your batteries, and boost productivity. For a business owner, finding the right coffee machine can be challenging, given the vast array of options available. Jura is always a good choice: these machines offer excellent value for money and require minimal maintenance. Of course, the choice of coffee is also essential. Everyone has their own taste, and every taste is catered to in the Van Hove Coffees selection, featuring beans imported from around the world and roasted here with unique expertise, the result of 70 years of experience.

A prestigious international certification

Back to the X4 and X10. These models set the standard in technology, featuring the Pulsed Extraction Process (P.E.P.)—a unique method that ensures optimal extraction time, superior aroma, and a rich, balanced flavor.

These machines are also equipped with TÜV-certified Vacuum Clean technology. TÜV certification is a quality label issued by independent German organizations. It ensures that the products in question meet very strict international standards. Vacuum Clean technology allows
to continuously maintain the brewing unit in excellent condition and keep the machine clean at all times thanks to built-in rinse, cleaning, and descaling programs. There’s no need to remove the brewing unit from the machine to rinse it—in fact, it’s not even possible. The machine cleans it more thoroughly than you could by hand.

Other features and strengths shared by the X4 and X10: they dispense hot water (for tea, for example) and allow you to brew two cups at the same time—which reduces lines in front of the machine… The bean hopper and water tank are lockable with a key for maximum protection against external factors. And then, as is to be expected with such high-performance machines: a single touch of a button is all it takes to pour the desired beverage into the cup.

Cold brew coffee? Choose the Jura X10

As mentioned above, the Jura X10 can prepare nearly three times as many specialty drinks as the X4, thanks in part to its milk system: traditional espresso, creamy cappuccino, velvety latte macchiato, and more. The X10 also features Cold Brew technology, a unique taste experience that adds freshness to the coffee and gives it a slightly bitter flavor. The flavors are extracted using cold water that slowly passes through freshly and coarsely ground coffee under high pressure. The result is a refreshing, revitalizing, and entirely natural cold beverage.
