World premiere: The Z10 with P.R.G. revolutionises the preparation of hot and cold brew coffee specialities
A true masterpiece of Swiss engineering, the new Z10 doubles the range of coffee specialities available. It prepares the entire range of hot products, from intense espresso to trendy flat white, at the touch of a button. And with the cold brew specialities, it opens up a whole new world of coffee enjoyment. These innovations are made possible by the Product Recognising Grinder (P.R.G.), which recognises the selected speciality and adjusts the grind fineness precisely in a flash.
JURA has also developed the Cold Extraction Process, a new and refreshing process in the literal sense of the word. Cold water is injected through the freshly ground coffee in slow pulses at high pressure. The result is a completely new coffee - refreshing, energising, with a wonderfully balanced aroma.
This top-of-the-range machine of all superlatives is controlled by a 4.3" touch screen that is twice as fast, combined with the Blue Crystal Rotary Switch. The Speciality Selection menu and Artificial Intelligence make operation particularly simple and intuitive. The Z10's sculptural design reflects the great technological advances it contains. The new Product Recognising Grinder (P.R.G.)
In order to guarantee the optimum grind for every speciality, JURA engineers have developed the Product Recognising Grinder (P.R.G.). This electronically controlled precision grinder adjusts to the predefined grind fineness within fractions of a second - with a speed and frequency that would be impossible to reproduce by hand. The range of adjustment goes from a very fine grind for short classics to a very coarse grind for long specialities. But coffee lovers don't have to worry about all that: the setting is made automatically with each preparation. And thanks to the Aroma Selection function, the desired value can also be selected before each preparation.
Cold Brew technology: freshness at its best
Thanks to the Cold Extraction Process, the Z10 makes authentic cold brew specialities. Conventional cold drinks are mostly made with coffee that is percolated while hot and then cooled. With the Z10, however, the extraction is carried out with cold water pulsed at high pressure and a generally coarser grind. The result in the cup is a refreshing and naturally energising drink that enhances the fruity flavours of the coffee without overpowering them with bitter substances. Anything but a simple cold coffee!
An 8th generation percolation unit
The brewing unit is the heart of an automatic coffee machine. The Z10 is the eighth generation from JURA. With its unique 3D brewing technology, the water flows evenly through the coffee powder in several stages. This ensures maximum aroma for both hot specialities and cold brew drinks.
